Yesterday was my daughter's 13th bday. She's our oldest, and I just can't believe I have a teenager! She loves France and hopes to get there for her 16th bday. We thought a little french dessert would be appropriate. My husband works in NYC and there is a little french bakery called the Macaron Cafe around the corner from his office. These are such pretty little cookies. They come in many different flavors. I've provided a link to the cafe, although there aren't any pics on the site, just a buy now button to purchase a dozen of these delicious Macarons.
Also, just a reminder to participate in my Creative Inspiration post and Giveaway HERE! There is still time before I draw a name on March 8th.

Hi Dawn,
Yesterday was my son's bday. He turned 10. March 1st is a great day. Don't you love those reusable bags. I sell those same ones (eurosax) through my home party business. I love that they roll up and tuck away.

Sooooo you little trouble maker! hee, hee, hee! I've been dying to try macaroons and you had to go and give a link to the darn things so people like me, after looking at the pretty picture, go and order them to be shipped to bo-hick NC where the only thing we have is Walmart! Oh happy day! Can't wait for them to get here!
Thanks Dawn and happy birthday to your daughter!!! I hope she get's to go to France for her 16th. How cool would that be!

Hi Dawn,
Yum those look so good. We have a lovely little French Cafe a few miles from my home and they are like a second home. Unfortunately I love French pastries. :)

Oh boy, a teenager! Hang on to your bloomers, it's the best of times and the worst of times. The dessert tray looks yummy! What I know macaroons as those sweet coconut cookies that look like little mounds. Are these the same thing or is this something different?
