I'm back...

And so inspired. So many creative women at the Martha Stewart conference. It was so nice to see all of the women from last year and meet some new ones too. Wish I had time to meet them all!
Lisa (my roommate)  from Polka Dot Pound Cake and me!

Debbie from Calico Carriage and Tasha from My Story Inc.

We had some really great speakers..

There were also informative speakers from MSLO on blogging, Health by Terri Trespicio - Whole Living Senior Editor. Danielle from Etsy was there to speak on Etsy Selling and Terri Shapiro from Deluxe spoke to us about Public Relations.

And really great food too! But of course - we were at Martha's!

The event has really had me thinking about what I want for my business this year. The timing was perfect! Looking forward to seeing all of the Dreamers and their business's grow or begin!

Leaving that office FULL of creativity was hard!

Can't wait until next year to do it again.

Jillian,
It is such a great group to be a part of. Visit www.dreamers.marthastewart.com and join - it's free. Then choose groups that interest you. You will want to visit the forum regularly to see what is going on in your groups. There will probably be another event next year. But we do keep in contact throughout the year on the forum.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Welcome back, Dawn! Sounds like it was so much fun and very inspiring! What were the top 3 things you brought away from it? Maybe I'll plan on going next year!
Have a beautiful weekend!

Kathleen,
I don't know if I can just name my top three, but I did get a lot of info from the speakers - mostly the Deluxe Corp - and their info on Public Relations and dealing with the media. The creative inspiration that you get from the office and staff at MSLO is amazing! And just reconnecting with the rest of the women in the group is worth the trip. There are women at all different stages of their business or business to be so we had a lot to learn from each other as well.
Hope you consider it for next year!!
