I'm Getting in the Mood...

Creating this festive piece has gotten me in the mood today. I'm not playing the music yet, but maybe I'll think about doing some shopping, decorating....
How about you? Are you in the Christmas mood yet?

I'm not one to do much before Thanksgiving because I like to enjoy that one too. We LOVE Thanksgiving food and this year we're thinking about going into the city (NYC that is) for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. We always watch it on TV but I would love to take the kids in to see it in person. I know it's going to be crazy, but that's ok. Have you been? I'd love to hear about it.

I'm not crazy about parades, but I agree, the Macy's Thanksgiving parade is the one to see.

Very pretty garland. I have started making some Christmas decor, but I want to enjoy Thanksgiving first.

Sooo pretty! We usually decorate right after Thanksgiving dinner:) But from blogging I can see that many start early and are putting me more in the mood to do at least one decoration before then. Have fun if you go to the parade in NY.

I have only decorated the mantle above our fireplace for Christmas so far. After Thanksgiving though our home will be decked out for the holidays!

What a beautiful mirror. I've started decorating for Christmas already and I'm guilty of listening to Christmas music also... hey it only come once a year. =)

Beautiful garland! We went to the Macy's parade 3 yrs ago when my son marched in it with his high school! We took the other two kids and met up with my sister and her family. Lots of fun! We got a spot right at the edge of the park and it turned out to be perfect because as the band marched by they paused and Nathan was right in front of us!! Have fun! You can also go the night before and watch them blow up all the balloons! Had a great time in NYC! ~anita
