I love this stuff. I bought this huge roll years ago and I'm still not tired of creating with it! That's unusual for me.
It's such a pretty and simple background between glass for a sepia or black and white photo. I'd love to do a collection of these on a wall.
Here is the shape I use to make my holiday cones (to be added to my shop this week)...filled with creamy white glittered hydrangeas, and fastened with an old white button from grandma's collection (yes, I'm still creating with them- I still have cookie tins full!)

I didn't know you were a Long Islander. Off to read more. Really pretty blog.
I LOVE these......I have about four rolls of that stuff too! I bought it years ago when I had a little space in an antique mall....I lined all my furniture with it and still have rolls left. I bought it on clearance for just a few dollars...I'm thinking I might need to get busy using some of it too. Your cones are delish!
Warm blessings,
Spencer

Hi Dawn, I love that stuff too, also known as anaglypta paper. I use it on my journals and one of these days I am going to actually use it on a wall and then paint the wall. Thanks so much for dropping by and you have a great day. xo
Dawn that paper is so dreamy! Love those cones. Just gorgeous!
That stuff is pretty! I hung a white embossed wallpaper border in my half bath. I'm not generally a fan of wallpaper, but this stuff is awesome.
Oh, I love that wallpaper! I don't have any but this is what I would try...
see what happens if you rubbed on a layer of stain! You might have to apply a clear coat first so it doesn't just soak right in, but you could totally make your flowers look just like the old one!
That is a charming idea. What a great idea!
Great idea. Love the little cones. Would be really cute on the Christmas tree or hanging behind the dining room chairs. Thanks for sharing. Laura@ the mansion
Pretty! That frame is awesome and you really can't tell it's wallpaper.

@Cheap Chic Home. The cones are so pretty. I plan on making some for my Xmas tree and painting them- maybe bronze.
Really beautiful! Now you've got my wheels spinning. There are sooo many ways you could use embossed wallpaper!! Thanks for sharing.
Someone just GAVE me two huge rolls of this yesterday. You made my day! Thanks for the inspiration. :)
