Doors of Maine

Okay, I promise this is my last post about our trip to Maine. I have been wanting to paint my side door (the most used in our house) a fun color. After driving around Maine I am going to do it! I'm thinking a Robin's Egg Blue. I was so inspired by these pretty doors around Maine.

Do you have a pretty color on your door? If so, let us know!

Dawn...did you read my mind and know I needed to see a post on front doors? lol. I love all of these! I too am going to be repainting our new front door on our new house we are buying in a month. I was thinking along robins egg blue or turquoise. We are still in deliberation...depends on what we decide the main house color will be and trims. I can't wait to see yours...love the pop of color and whimsy...go for it!! Hugs to you friend!

Had a raspberry door before moving to my current house. Loved it and miss it!! Go for it!! It's only paint, can always be changed!!

Pretty doors! I would like to repaint my door another color but just don't know what yet. Of course, I have to repaint the shutters too! It's on the "to do list" for next year.~Patti

I WISH! We live in a gated community and they don't let you do that. :( But if I could, I'd paint it an aquaish blue. (is that a word?)
I think you should go for it!
All those photos are just fabulous!! Love the individual statements they each make!!
Great post!!!

It really makes the front door stand out {as it should}. I think it could look lovely, Dawn. Lynne's right ~ it's only paint and if you don't like it you can always paint it again!

I'm totally hooked on colourful doors too. We were in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia last weekend, and I took pictures of lots of fabulous front doors :-)

Go for the robin's egg blue on your door -- it'll look great!!

You must see Atlanta's Strawberry door.

Security of the home should be considered more important, so its best to buy the storm doors and installed in your home. You can feel the pleasure of watching outside movements, at the same time well protected from insects and moisture. It also reduces the effect of air leaks from the primary door.
