Beautiful sites around Maine

I understand why they call Maine "Vacationland".

And why they say Maine - "The way life should be".

These are just a few of the shots we took around Camden and the surrounding area. I could definitely get used to looking at these views everyday.

The view from the dock - can you hear the quiet?

Bella enjoying the view of the pond

Camden Harbor boats

I know they're just cliffs but we don't have those on LI

We don't have these either -Belted Galloway Cows - Don't they look like Oreo cookies?

Pretty Lincolnville Beach

If you have visited Maine, I would love to hear all about it, what region, your favorite part.....

Great minds! My post today is about Camden as well. I love Maine and lived here full time for many, many years. Now we spend winters in Florida but return here for the summers. The lakes in Maine are spectacular as well. Glad you came to visit.

This is one of our favorite areas to vacation. We always stay in Nobleboro at the Mill Pond Inn. Another fun thing is to take the ferry to Monhegan Island. It's an artist colony and very quaint...only about 75 residents.

And of course, we always make it to Freeport to LL Bean.

Oooh, how pretty! I'm all the way on the opposite coast, I thought we had the market cornered on nature's beauty, guess I was wrong! (but--we do have an easier climate, so there's that).
Come for a visit some time!

Ok... so maybe I'm a critter freak but I totally love the cows best!!!
I want to smooch their faces and talk in a stupid high pitched voice. Oh wait...that's how I normally talk.
Great post! I would love to visit Maine one day.
