Show and Tell Monday!

I love this idea my friend Kathleen from Set to a Tea has come up with. She thought we could all post about what we have been working on over the last week.

Here is a custom floral piece I have made up for a customer last week. This one is going in her bathroom.

These are some sweet little floral pieces I made and added to my shop last week.

Also, here is a pic of a delicious dessert my 12 yr old made last night. While in the supermarket yesterday, she spotted these ready to use crepes in the produce aisle.

Here is the recipe:

2 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 tsp pure vanilla extract

1 pint of fresh strawberries, sliced

Nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread in a jar)

In an electric mixer, whip the cream to medium peaks. Add the sugar and the vanilla and whip to stiff peaks. Gently fold in the strawberries. Spread a little Nutella on the crepe. Top with some whipped cream and strawberries. Roll up crepe, sprinkle with powdered sugar and add a little more whipped cream on top. So good!

Enjoy!

Hi Dawn!

The floral arrangement you create are truly stunning. Love them all. And your darling daughter made that crepe dessert??? OMG..you are so lucky! I bet she will become a chef someday! I have to try that recipe. My best friend is french and her mom happens to be a chef and I will never forget the blueberry crepe she once made for me. It was to die for! Thanks for sharing Dawn!

Dawn,
The floral arrangement is beautiful. I have French doors out to the patio, and never even thought to hang flowers there. Oooh, now I have a new project.

P.S. Still loving the little hanging candle holders from last time.

Hi Dawn...I'm with Lisa, your floral arrangements are so pretty! You have such a flare for design, I know your customer will squeal!
I think it's awesome that your DD can have the vision to see crepes in the supermarket, then prepare them too! She has a great teacher, she'll be just like you, that's for sure!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting! I need to post more often, I don't know where you find the time with your busy schedule to post on a regular basis! I'm overwhelmed, and you make it look so simple~ xoxoxo
Love to you,
