Our New Store!

It has been 1 month since we opened our first brick and mortar location in Northport Village, NY. Hydrangea Home began 22 years ago and it has always been a dream of mine to have my own store. After 22 years of craft shows, home shows, selling in various shops on Long Island, Etsy and my own website, I finally have a physical location (no more basement!) to work, create and display.  We signed the lease on 1/28/17 and opened the doors on 3/11/17. It was a crazy 6 weeks of construction, display work and creating. Everyone in the family helped out and dedicated their weekends to getting the store ready. I honestly could not have done it without their help! The support from family, friends and the Northport community has been overwhelming. We are so happy to be here.

We make a lot of the products in the store including florals, art, photography, and wood items. I have also found a long list of makers creating beautiful jewelry, soaps, candles, pillows and linens. So excited to support other small businesses and artisans. We added a counter with stools in the store that overlooks my workspace. Come sit, browse a decorating book or magazine and see what we are working on. One of my favorite things about having the shop is interacting with my customers. I truly enjoy the conversations!  If you are local, I hope you will come see us!
